The Philosophy Department is pleased to announce that on January 16, Agnes Galina Shatalov, Professor Keren Shatalov's daughter, came into the world healthy and happy. I know that everyone in the department will be excited to hear this wonderful news!
Both Agnes and Keren are currently at home, doing well—though you should feel free to reach out to say congratulations if you would like. And Agnes—it turns out—received her middle name “Galina” after her paternal great-grandmother, who—according to all surviving relatives—was something of a force of nature. All indications are that Agnes is already following in those auspicious footsteps, even if in her own very special way.
